General Summary
As a Software Engineer for ActionLogic, you will work on a variety of custom Internet and Intranet projects. You will be a member of a design team which will work together to create a set of specifications and a time line for project completion.

Essential job functions

• Develop custom programming and database designs
• Provide technical input in a team environment
• Recommend technical solutions to customer problems
• Assist in customer technical support issues

Knowledge and abilities

• Knowledge of database technologies such as Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Access.
• Expert in navigating through a Windows based environment
• Experience with Windows NT configurations
• Ability to analyze, solve, and debug technical problems
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to a diverse audience

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience in JavaScript, HTML, and Java
• SilverStream training and experience a plus
